After replacing the screen the HUD isn’t the same as the factory fitted glass. It seems slightly blurry, and if I move my head from side to side it seems distorted. Previously it was always “flat” against the screen (if that makes sense at all). Anyway, trying to figure out if this windscreen is correct for HUD. 2014 F10 Screen Upgrade. Hi. I have found a Professional NBT screen for sale on eBay. I have the Business 6.5" screen. The sale doesn't include the head unit. I am pretty sure I read somewhere a while ago that , even if the car was NBT, just changing the screen would not work as the head unit drives the screen. I can't find that information again. This time, using the manual airflow direction button, I noticed although the LCD display showed the button was working the air flow was not responding. With air only coming out of the lower, feet blowers. The series of events leading up to this failure are as follows; 9th December - BMW recall work carried out, the EGR cooler was replaced.

My first impression is that HUD is distraction and as long as I can get the information such as speed limit / directions from the. navigation display l should be ok.

I have heard retrofitting Nav could sink me price-wise, but I have been thinking that the reverse camera might be possible with an aftermarket product. .
