Anti Aliasing it basicly absent, if it is there it isnt noticeable. I have tried going into the console of half life Alyx and manually enabling MSAA to see if that does anything but I have had no result. My Desktop Specs: i7 10700k, 16gb 3600Mhz, GTX 1070. Half life Alyx. Hi everyone! Got my OQ 2.Bought HL:Alyx,12900k, rtx 3080ti, 32 ram. I changed some basic settings in ODT500 mbits, link sharp.Ingame settings ultra. Oculus res - 1.7, steamvr res - 100%. Everything is okay, but: 1) fps always 120, but it stuttering, when I turn head. 2) it’s still blurry, when I look and things near me (like
Half Life Alyx crashing on level load. EDIT 3: Reinstalling the Oculus PC App did the trick for me :) Also installed it on another Drive after I got new replacement Drives. So I just upgraded my rig to be VR Ready and the game runs very good and smooth with high res but when loading into a new level it just crashes before I even get the loading
I get between 2-3 hours usually, sometimes more, very rarely less. It depends on what you’re playing. 100-65 in 15 mins is an issue tho. You must have a magic battery or not actually gaming if you claim to get up to 3 hours and sometimes more.or you just lose track of time and think you've played more than you have.
On the oculus website it says that the 1060 3gb is not compatible with the quest 2. It is compatible but with a acceptable performance (Oculus link). But I bought the virtual desktop on the quest 2. Virtual desktop makes the quest 2 use less cpu and gpu since the oculus launcher is not running on background. Here is a gameplay of half life alyx.
Quest 2 is wired using an Official link cable. Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz. 16gb ram. Geforce rtx 3080 12gb. Things I have tried: Lowered the settings in-game to low. Lowered the resolution to 20% in steamvr and default resolution in the oculus app. Lowered frame rate to 72 Hz. Shut off Google Chrome.
I don't know what native resolution means, the physical resolution of the quest 2 is 1832x1920 per eye but the render resolution goes up to a maximum of what you have it set to. Index apparently has a 1440x1600 res per eye. I have a 2080 and play Alyx at 80hz and x2100 on ultra settings on my quest2. That is usually what my pc can handle on
Hello, I've been playing Half- Life Alyx, and its been pretty blurry. I've watched videos of other people playing the game with the same specs and their game doesn't look half as blurry as mine does. I have my eyes in the middle of the quests little reticles so that isn't the problem. My specs are : i7 9750h 16gb ram 1660 ti the rest doesn't really affect graphical performance. I use a link
virtual desktop will put your worries into the ground, had a flawless wireless play session on alyx through the Quest 1, and a second run on the Quest 2 on a WiFi 5 router capped at 300mps. 100 bit rate is plenty enough, keep your render resolution at 100%, not auto (this causes issues for oculus since it has a set resolution. steam's auto setting will scale it based on the game leading to
