The first thing I did was splice all the wires for the hatch because they were a mess of butt connectors and electrical tape. Someone had been in there and cobbled it up. Now they are spliced from under the headliner well into the hatch, so the entire part that flexes, and then some, has been replaced.

All had duratec engines, 2.0 except for the ST 2.3. Brakes changed to larger ones in front, suspension change in late '05 to larger struts, all had a larger front ball joint stud.

Hi I've just bought a 2002 (52 Plate) Focus Zetec 2.0. To the left of the main dials there is the coin tray, which on some specs of the car is filled in with a trip computer. since mine didn't come with one as standard, I'm wondering how difficult it is to fit one myself.
fordfocus2003. 19 Dec 2010. 1. i am lucky as my lock barrel is still working, as when you look from above when the bonnet is open the plastic connector shaft between the lock barrel and the lock mechanism (latch) rotates left and right as per the key movement but it appears the shaft has somehow come away from the locking mechanism.
