You can try a couple of things: 1. Press the off/on switch on the player for 30seconds-1 minute. That should switch it off. Try then to switch on from the player and then use the remote. 2.Switch off the mains and then unplug the power lead from the player, in that order. Leave it for about half hour (some say overnight), and then plug it back 1. Disconnect power cord, power switch button "off" position, unplug cables and video cables from the unit. 2. Place the TV unit flat on the surface - screen on the bottom - Back cover side facing up. 3. Back Stand: Remove the TV bracket stand in the back by unscrewing the 8 screws. The only way to get it out is to actually take of the whole radio, and then open it. Manually turn the loading mechanism until the disk is ejected. This ensure no further damage is done to the radio. Try reset button first if it has one before you start taking it off, sometimes that helps.
The CD, DVD or Blu-ray Disc drive tray on the computer will not open or a disc is stuck in the drive. The CD or DVD disc will not fit over the center spoke of the CD or DVD drive tray. A CDR, CDRW, DVDR, or DVDRW disc cannot be read in a Sony® CDROM or DVDROM drive, DVD player or audio CD player.

My Magnavox TV/DVD Combo has a dvd stuck in the dvd holder. It's Mod. 20MF251W/37. The TV works fine but I had an instructional dvd I wanted to watch that was smaller than a normal dvd. I put it in and it automatically pulled in the dvd but I couldn't watch it, nor will it come out now.
When the disc drive got stuck in my case, I had to open the DVD player on several occasions, and remove the disc manually. It's quite easy to do. Just take off the outer case, and then remove the top of the dvd drive (just a few screws). Takes 5 mins. As to my attempts to solder in a new IC chip - that's another story.

In the This PC window, right-click on the icon for the stuck optical drive④ and select [Eject]⑤ . The optical drive tray/door should automatically pop open. If it remains stuck, continue to the next steps. Locate a small hole on the optical drive panel; this is the manual eject hole.

After I drained the battery when it was getting detailed (doors open for 4 hours) I had to jump start the truck, then the dvd/cd option did not work same as yours. I could not eject or add a disk. A disk was stuck and spinning in the player. The stuck disk kept spinning even when the truck was off so the battery died overnight. 2016 Elite DVD won't play anymore. DVD Stuck I have the same problem. We were traveling with DVD player running for grandson. When we came home we shut off the car. Wife remembered the DVD was still in the player, when I went to hit the eject, nothing happened. I turned off the car and restarted. No luck. .
