It does seem as if your Android operating system is corrupt so if you can find a copy of the firmware you may be able to fix it. You would need to copy the firmware to an SD card, insert it into the slot and repeat your pressing the reset button trick again. If you can't find the firmware file then I think it's time for a new box.
