Hi all. I've got a 2010 Mondeo TDCi with an intermittent problem with the passenger side locks and windows. Occasionally both passenger doors won't lock or unlock either remotely or with the key placed in the lock, and the electric windows will only work using the passenger side controls. Hi. I have an electrical fault on my driver door module: The kerbside windows cannot be controlled but the offside can. The central locking fails to lock the offside doors. The mirrors no longer fold in. All of this seems to be covered by the 25A fuse FA2 in the boot fusebox. Unfortunately this fuse is fine, as are FA1-FA4.
Driver door electric window,folding mirror, rear window, central locking won't work. I thought it was the multi console at fault and had it's day, but I removed the plug/wiring from the driver side front of the door that goes into the wing and there was a thick black wire (positive power) broken at the terminal inside the connector, not obvious

The central locking in my MK3 Mondeo has been playing up for years. The other day I came across a great video that described how to change the door controller. The same video also recommended to try a reset routine first involving turning the ignition On/off 4 times In quick succession. I did that but it did not solve the locking problem. Excellent everything worked global opening/ closing and central locking all worked in sync. Now upon trying to reset the one touch windows for the back they refuse to relearn the one touch reset I've tried every method listed in the manual on the ford wiki but nothing at all. Should I have changed the rear modules along with the fronts!

Sorry to see a few people are having problems with this, not sure what the problems are but I think anyone doing this needs to check the lock before buttoning everything up. After the lock is refitted to the door, take a screwdriver (or similar item) and push it into the latch to simulate shutting the door. .
